The Rhopoint Optimap™ 2 PSD is a precision instrument used for the measurement of surface topography, roughness, and waviness. The Optimap™ 2 PSD uses advanced interferometric technology to accurately measure surface topography and generate 3D surface maps.
The instrument works by projecting a beam of light onto the surface being measured and then measuring the phase shift of the light as it is reflected back. The phase shift is directly related to the surface topography, and the instrument uses this data to generate a high-resolution 3D surface map.
The Optimap™ 2 PSD is capable of making fast, objective, full filled measurements over large areas requiring no movement of the surface. Surface texture is used to quantify visible fault such as Orange Peel, Waviness and DOI problem. In a single fast operation the Optimap™ 2 maps the topography of a test surface displaying faults and texture in incredible detail. adjust to the new image dimensions. Regions can be resized and moved
to allow selection of a region of interest or deleted completely restoring
