Spectrophotometer CM-3630A for pulp and paper industry
Built For Precision, Powerful Vertical Benchtop Spectrophotometer
The Spectrophotometer CM-3630A is a specialized device designed by Konica Minolta for use in the pulp and paper industry. It is used to measure the color and brightness of paper products, which is an important quality control parameter in the industry accordance with ISO recommendation. The CM-3630A spectrophotometer is a successor to CM-3630 with vertically-designed benchtop model.
The CM-3630A uses advanced optical technology to measure color and brightness with high accuracy and reproducibility. It can measure color and brightness in a variety of conditions, including reflected and transmitted light, and in different illumination modes, such as D65, C, and A.
Konica Minolta CM-3630A spectrophotometer is built with d/0 (diffuse illumination with 0 degree observation angle) geometry. The CM-3630A Spectrophotometer is the latest model of the spectrophotometer series equipped with the patented “Konica Minolta Innovative Optical System” and ensures perfect compliance to ISO optical standards 2469 and 2470 used in the Pulp and Paper Industry. Together with the designated software PaperControl*, brightness, whiteness and yellowness indices are calculated and displayed in full accordance with several international and national standards such as ISO, SCAN, DIN, TAPPI,CPPA and AFNOR.
Numerical UV-Control makes calibration and adjustments to whiteness and tint a swift and easy procedure. In fact, in just a few seconds your CM-3630A Spectrophotometer is perfectly calibrated, much quicker and with fewer chances for user mistakes than with the traditional methods used in conventional instruments. Since everything’s done numerically, and with the significant reduction in internal moving parts, it is relatively maintenance free!
The CM-3630A spectrophotometer is widely used in the pulp and paper industry for quality control, product development, and research applications. Its high accuracy, stability, and versatility make it a valuable tool for measuring color in various pulp and paper products, including paper, board, tissue, and pulp.
Furthermore, the Numerical UV-Control, combined with the user calibration option in PaperControl, allows easy adjustment of instrument parameters to your current measurement system and thus, guarantees perfect correlation with data you’ve collected over the years.
The CM-3630A spectrophotometer with vertical alignment, unsurpassed technology and outstanding performance capable to measure a wide range of application such as textile, plastics ceramic, paint etc.
